Hello.
We are;
weekday assembly.
When great work leads to change, you don’t fight it, you move with it.
As one of our Directors puts it, “we successfully incubate brands.” Over the years, the cohort has helped build and scale some exceptional businesses, including leading the European launch of a multi-billion-dollar outdoor brand over the past six years. Their impact was so significant that the brand went on to acquire part of the team last year. That naturally pushed us to ask the same question of ourselves.
Who are we now, ten years in?
And more importantly, who do we want to be in five years?
We already knew one thing for sure: we had a seriously strong team, with the experience and capability to build something exciting. So instead of rushing into a surface-level rebrand, we took a step back and did it properly.
Everyone played a part, from brainstorming what would become Weekday Assembly, to shaping the values we really believe in. Our senior team reworked our entire service offering too, building it more like an eCommerce menu. So brands can pick exactly what they need, and skip what they don’t.
The name Weekday Assembly is a quiet nod to where we’ve come from. Our WA mark still carries a trace of “vva”, but it also says something new:
Weekday: showing up consistently doing the work, Monday to Friday, nine to five.
Assembly: bringing the right people, tools, and thinking together to make things happen.
Along the way, we have defined our blueprint that guides how we work:
Stay Curious; great teams are built on openness, responsibility, and curiosity.
We Act Like Owners; we treat every brand like it’s our own.
Better Together; the best results come from collaboration, across our team and with our partners.
So what does that look like in practice?
We are your eCommerce department, proudly based in Bristol, United Kingdom.
We offer a menu of eCommerce expertise, so you can pick exactly what you need.
We experiment, learn, and refine to keep you ahead of the curve.
We grow when you grow, with a commission-aligned partnership.
Now, with stronger foundations, clearer focus, and bigger ambition, we’re ready for what’s next.

vvast Enters New Era of Growth With Strategic Rebrand and New Managing Director
vvast has been through a lot over the past few years. It’s no secret the world of retail and technology hasn’t exactly stood still. Like many businesses, we’ve had to adapt, rethink, and evolve along the way.
Alongside this, the cohort has led a multi-billion-dollar outdoor brand through their launch in Europe over the last six years. So successfully, they acquired a portion of the business’ talent last year.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve taken the opportunity to quietly rebuild. Refining the business, sharpening its offering, and strengthening operations to develop a clear understanding of its place within the market.
As part of the next phase, founder Richie Jones will continue to work under the vvast moniker, as the business begins to transition from an eCommerce agency into a SaaS-focused model.
Simultaneously, Laura Justice, aided by tendered members of business, will lead the next eCommerce agency chapter. This includes a full rebrand and a renewed focus on delivering thoughtful, high-impact solutions for a growing client base.
We are now Weekday Assembly.
The name is a quiet nod to where we’ve come from. Our WA mark still carries a trace of “vva”, but it also signals something new.
Weekday is about showing up consistently doing the work, Monday to Friday, nine to five.
Assembly is about bringing the right people, tools, and thinking together to make things happen.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the foundation Richie Jones created,” said Laura Justice. “The journey so far has given us the experience, relationships, and ambition to take the business into its next phase. The past year has given us the opportunity to step back, rethink, and build something stronger. Weekday Assembly represents a clearer, sharper version of what we’ve always been good at, eCommerce. We’re incredibly excited about what comes next.”
